From what I gather, without actually spoiling The Silver Case for myself, is that FSR is highly tied to it with SC being somewhat necessary to explain the characters & events in the later parts. DAMMIT SUDA YOU'D BETTER RELEASE THAT ON DS TOO

I really want an artbook from FSR/SC. Or at least some nice jpgs of the illustrations, all I can find are some youtube videos. That super clean and smooth yet semi-realistic style is growing on me.

This game also makes me want to (re)read MPD-Psycho, from what little I remember from what little I read, I was getting similar vibs from the plot at the end (though again, that's more SC-related I think).

Also killed a bit of time with the second chapter of Theresia tonight. OH BOY THE DREAMS I'M GONNA HAVE TONIGHT SOB

Shadow of Destiny (Memories) is coming to the PSP :o I was excited until I realized it'll probably be a straight port - I mean, what could they possibly add to the game? Still, I'll probably buy it anyway, it's still one of my favorite adventure games.

So, finished Tales of Legendia... sort of. Shelving it without doing the character quests for now - it was a satisfying distraction at 30 hours, but I fear anymore would wear out it's welcome. So unless there's a reason I should do the character quests immediately after the main quest...?

If Theresia is Hotel Dusk ala horror, then Flower Sun & Rain is Hotel Dusk on CRACK. I suppose I expect no less from Suda though!

My favorite part thus far is CRITICAL 4TH WALL BOY:

Blazblue looks darn sharp and so far it's pretty fun (alot more responsive to button mashing than Guilty Gear heh). I'm still disappointed by the character design, though. It's like they took half of the GG cast and generified them further. And the quality of the illustrations is barf :( IDK I'm just so sick of the animu/moe CG style being the preferred style EVERYWHERE.

I suppose I shouldn't be complaining though, since thanks to the artbook it looks like I may get the game for half off or even free :3

I also suppose this wouldn't be a bad time for a shameless plug of the 5 million auctions I have up right now orz

And some quickies I beat recently/playing now:

Tales of Legendia - Why am I playing this... and why am I kind of liking it D: IDK I guess the linear and braindead story is kind of relaxing at the moment. (Cam Clarke within the first 5 minutes caught me off guard tho lol) It moves very fast and the battles are pretty fun (got good enough to use manual mode, woo). Music is very good if a little out of place sometimes.
Random thought: If sea water and sea breezes are poisonous to Shirley - I'm guessing it's the salt then - does that mean she's a... slug?!? （　ﾟ Дﾟ;;)

Brave Fencer Musashi - I could say more about this game, but the fact that the royal food tester is called Salmonelli somehow sums up the game for me.

Theresia - Surprisingly creepy for what's essentially a point-n-click adventure/sound novel/whatever. I would say think of Cing's games (Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk), but horror.

Flower Sun & Rain - I've barely started the game and my head hurts already. Story = good hurt, puzzles = bad hurt math puzzles nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo only for you suda sob sob

GUNDAM NERDS ONLY: GUNDAM SOUSEI
A Gundam manga about... the making of Gundam. No, not the robot - the series itself. Where Tomino is the ULTIMATE PIMP who buster wolfs Tooru Furuya to get him to say his lines right (the legendary Brightslap no less), YAS looks like a balding Paptimus and drives a Dolorian (wat), and Shuuichi Ikeda is a slobbering drunk until he becomes A CHAR.

Scanlations online here for lazy bastards like me who can't be bothered to actually download anything.

I feel that my life has changed forever after reading (or just finding the existence of) this manga. Whether that change is for the better or worse, I have yet to know.
